FRED YEUNG Fred Yeung specializes in political, corporate and public affairs communications, with extensive organizational and consultancy experience in strategic communications counselling. Fred was formerly General Manager of A-World Communications a leading local Hong Kong corporate and public affairs communications consultancy. Earlier, he was Director of Corporate Communications of Sun Hung Kai & Co responsible for corporate and marketing communications and Public Affairs Manager of Hong Kong's CLP Power reporting directly to the Managing Director of this major public utility. Fred also worked as Manager, Corporate and Public Affairs for Burson-Marsteller, Hong Kong and as Group Director, Corporate and Public Affairs for Hill and Knowlton, Hong Kong . IN these roles, he focused on strategic counselling in corporate positioning, government relations, issues management, crisis management, as well as communications training and corporate image research/audit. Major clients he has served include Government bureaux/departments, trade associations, public utilities and a range of businesses in logistics, energy, transportation, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and hospitality industries. Fred was formerly Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Public Relations Professionals' Association. He is Course Director of the University of Hong Kong 's SPACE on public relations, advising on the development of communication courses.
